Murder Carves a Pumpkin

SCROLL DOWN

Murder Carves a Pumpkin

Rylly hates Halloween with every fiber of her being.
Her nephew volunteers her to help with the Halloween fundraiser.
A recipe for disaster or something worse?
Due to the many traumatic pranks Rylly’s older brothers played on her when she was a child, she has a near phobia about Halloween. But when her nephew and his friends decide to hold a Halloween fundraiser so that the scholarship students can stay in school, she swallows her fear and agrees to help.
But Mr. MacPherson with his tests from hell has another idea. An idea that ratchets up the hate and discontent already rampant in the school. When he turns up dead right after he attacks Geraldine Smith, Homicide Detective, Lt. Rachel Kirk arrests John Walters, a close friend. As far as Rylly is concerned, this is a declaration of war.
When a student and a teacher disappear during the Halloween Carnival, Rylly must put aside her fears and discover who is behind Mr. MacPherson’s murder, the kidnapping and a bomb threat. Can she save the spook alley, the scholarship program and the holiday she hates?

Murder Cooks a Turkey

An unconscious teen

A squirrelly aunt

A missing rare coin

Rylly Barr has been looking forward to Christmas Vacation but Thanksgiving is barely over when a fire puts one of Kohler’s best friends in the hospital in a coma. Rylly begins to panic when Kohler and his friend, Scott quit eating because they are so worried about CamiSue.

Remembering some research she read about helping people in a coma, she meets with Nathan Mathews, CamiSue’s yummy, single doctor who agrees to let Kohler and Scott do homework with her in the hopes that they can help her come out of the coma.

When someone starts shooting at Kohler and Scott, Rylly decides that there was more to the fire than arson. As her romance with Dr. Mathews heats up, can Rylly keep her mind off her heart and find who started the fire, who put CamiSue in a coma and who keeps shooting at her nephew before the bullets do more than put a hole in Kohler’s geology book.

A Student in Trouble

Missing Chocolates

Valentine’s Day will never be the same

Rylly is sure she won’t survive Valentine’s Day. Her boyfriend is missing in action. She’s agreed to do another fund raiser, this time to help a boy get the surgery he needs, her first cooking class students are graduating, and there’s a dead body on her kitchen floor.

If having a dead body on the kitchen floor isn’t enough, her close cop friend Mac has suddenly lost his mind. Even though she has an alibi for the murder, he keeps twisting her testimony so that she looks guilty. Then she wipes out her knee and has to have emergency surgery. At least, she’s in the same hospital room as her nephew Kohler who got hit on the temple with a basketball.

While she’s in the hospital, the pressure cooker of her life reaches her ‘Popeye’ limit—the “It’s all I can stands, I can’t stands no more” limit. Can Rylly take back her life, and her school, without losing her knee, her mind or her life. Murder Sends Chocolate in a fun read in the Culinary School Series.
